Project Lightbulb Challenge
The Project Lightbulb Challenge is a friendly energy saving competition for blocks throughout Baltimore City. Participants are encouraged challenge themselves and their neighbors to reduce their energy consumption. Our participant signs can be seen all throughout the city as recruited residents post their energy usage in the front yard for their neighbors to see! The block with the best results is rewarded with the opportunity to host an Energy Saver’s Block Party!
In 2011, the 3600 block of Lyndale Avenue pulled out all the stops and was declared the winner due to their enthusiastic participation in the Project Lightbulb Challenge, they are excited to host their party in July!
Which energy saving block will be next? If you think your block is up for the task, contact the Project Lightbulb Challenge at 410-366-8533 ext. 235.
