Baltimore Education Network
The Baltimore Education Network (BEN) was established by parents and education advocates in 1997. BEN’s mission is to support families, youth, and community in creating the agenda for how their schools can improve and in using their individual and collective power to move this agenda. To accomplish this mission, BEN:
- provides access to education information,
- enhances participants’ skills through training and workshops, and
- facilitates dialogue and collective action among individuals and organizations.
