Day of Service – Volunteers

8th Annual Ricky Myers Day of Service!

Saturday, October 1st, 2011 (Rain or Shine)
The event kicks off at Civic Works’ headquarters, Cilfton Mansion.
2701 St. Lo Drive in Clifton Park

The Ricky Myers Day of Service celebrates Civic Works’ mission by engaging hundreds of volunteers to work on service projects in Baltimore and honors the life of Ricky Myers, a staff member who dedicated his life to serving Baltimore’s communities.

Schedule of activities:

• 7:45am: Registration, breakfast, opening (Clifton Mansion)
• 8:30am: Service projects begin (various sites)
• 12:30pm: Lunch, reflection and door prizes (Clifton Mansion)

Volunteers will receive a light breakfast, t-shirts, water bottles, lunch and a chance to receive fabulous door prizes including restaurant certificates, admission to local attractions, overnight packages and more!

Projects to include:

• Historic restoration at Clifton Mansion
• Transforming vacant lots into community gardens
• Physical improvements to Baltimore City schools
• Rehabbing homes for families in need
• Sprucing up Baltimore City Parks
• & more!
