Mission Statement:

Our mission is to serve the employment needs of Baltimore residents through environmental job training and employment development initiatives in the areas of Brownfield’s remediation and hazardous materials abatement and containment projects.

Advisory Board Description

The B'more Green Advisory Board consists of employers, representatives of key agencies, and community leaders. The employer's comitee offers advice to ensure that the syllabus meets the needs of the job market, and helps connect our graduates with jobs. The agencies comitee keeps the program connected with information about educational resources, regulations, projects that might create jobs for our graduates, and funding opportunities. The community leaders committee stays actively involved in the task of offering us advice on culturally appropriate teaching methods, recruitment, and mentoring. Many members of the advisory board choose to take a more active role by volunteering their time assissting with tasks such as fundraising, resource development, recruitment, mentoring, and instruction.
